Life is filled with uncertainties, but there are a few things I cling to with an unwavering grasp. One: put a number of items in front of me for choosing and I will invariably pick the most expensive. Two: I have a finely honed skill at finding said luxury items at marked-down prices. Taking that into account, imagine my delight at being invited to join the super-fab team from Refinery29 to attend the preview for the new Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio in NJ. They re-stock the store weekly with in-season, off-price items, which means regular visits from moi to score the best loot. It's not the full-on shopgasm that is Neimans, but it's no picking through packed-to-busting racks either. I love that. There were some amazing bags in stock and some good jewelry finds, too (Hello Ippolita, nice to see you!).

We scoured the place and put together 3 outfits—one of which I was lucky enough to take home thanks to all the lovely ladies involved. Vince cashmere sweater = my new best friend... and please don't tell my fiancé, but I'm desperately in love with my new leopard Badgley Mischka bag.
Was it worth waking up at 5:30am? Um, YEAH!! The Last Call Studio people were great and the Refinery team was amazing and fun to work/shop with. Love them! In fact...I might just need to venture out to Jersey again soon...
