Get Creative At L.A. Second Annual Renegade Craft Fair

renegade-craft-fair-los-angeles-site

For the second year,
The Renegade Craft Fair
is coming to the cornfield of L.A. State Historic Park and we can't wait to get crafty and see all these handmade treasures in one place. And this year instead of just coming and shopping, there are a host of interactive crafting events and workshops taking place. Hit up Silverlake's Reform School station for a little kite-making how-to,
Tanya Aguiniga
will be demonstrating how she makes knot-tying class (we're big fans of these!), and The Urban Craft Center will be teaching awesome skills like bookbinding and yarn spinning. As if that wasn't enough, Etsy will have a brick and mortar location set up so you can check out all the goodies from your favorite L.A.-based locals. A weekend filled with amazingly crafted styles and a lesson in book-binding? Count us in!

The Renegade Craft Fair, July 24-25 from 11a.m. - 7p.m., Los Angeles State Historic Park,1245 N Spring Street (at West College Street); no phone.
