Sort Out Your Entire Summer (Sartorially, Anyway) At This Sample Sale

One thing we love about our city: While we don't have legit sample sales as often as NYC and LA, the ones we do have are always so much more than just a sale. We're talking discounted designer goods paired with delish cocktails and tasty bites from places like Café Milano and Neyla. And the first annual Georgetown Sip & Sample Sale, which takes place next week, promises to be no different.
We've scored many a great find over the years at the District Sample Sale, so we’re excited to have another big boutique event to pencil into our planners. This go-round, expect baubles from Charm Georgetown and Queen Bee Designs (the two owners organized the event), prepster must-haves from Sherman Pickey and Pink Palm, and party-ready frocks from Wink, Urban Chic, Ginger, and Julia Farr.
Remember, the early bird gets the cheapest worm, so consider investing in the $50 VIP ticket for access to the goods two hours ahead of everyone else. Don’t feel like splurging? Regular entry is $25, and we feel confident that you’ll still find a perfect dress for a summer wedding or a no-fail Mother’s Day gift. At the very least, you'll get your money's worth of boozy confections from ARTini-winning mixologist Joseph Ambrose.
When: Wednesday, April 18. VIP admission from 3 to 9 p.m; general admission from 5 to 9 p.m. Buy tickets here.
Where: Letelier Theater Upper Courtyard, located behind Cafe Milano, 3251 Prospect Street NW.
