Found: Thai Cuisine In Chicago That’s Actually Good!

Remember Cafe Matou? Yeah, it's gone. But instead we get something really special: Thai food. Correction, good Thai food. If you've been searching for delicious Thai cuisine that isn't grease-laden, styrofoam box-clad crap, Silom 12 can totally help. This superchic, brand-new spot is serving the best Thai we've sampled in the Windy City. Liquor license is on the way (you know how Chicago is), so for now bring your own. Silom 12 is open for lunch and dinner on weekends, but only for dinner on weeknights. We suggest a rezzie if you're heading out on a Friday or Saturday. Our picks? We're keeping things traditional and saying the Summer Wraps and Cashew Chicken are pure gold.

Silom 12, 1846-48 North Milwaukee Avenue; 773-489-1212.
