Get a taste of the artsy-party trifecta at the second annual (e)merge Art Fair, which kicks off today at the Capitol Skyline Hotel. The fair will showcase 152 artists on two platforms — galleries and nonprofit art spaces in designated hotel rooms, and unrepresented artists throughout the hotel's public spaces and grounds — highlighting 24 countries in total. Thievery Corporation's Eric Hilton will be on the ones and twos tonight, providing the soundtrack for what is sure to be a seriously happening preview party. Tomorrow through Sunday, you can pop in to catch the artwork at your leisure. And there you have it: perfect weekend plans.
