The Fun Of Thrifting, Minus The Frustration At Goodwill's Pop-Up

goodwillslide
Love scoring rad vintage pieces but not willing to patiently scour thrift shops to find them? You're in luck — Goodwill has teamed up with local design firm Gensler to host a series of pop-up shops this week in the Pepco Edison Place Gallery. Dubbed Edited by Goodwill, the three shopping shindigs will feature a handpicked selection of vintage and current items — all at bargain-basement prices. There's so much to love here — top-notch items, a rad space, that limited-time-only buzz — that you might actually want to dig through the merchandise all three days. How's that for dedication?
When: Wednesday, August 1, through Friday, August 3; from noon to 7 p.m.
Where: Pepco Edison Place Gallery, 702 8th Street NW; no phone.
