While we tend to spend June daydreaming about lounging around at one of the Bay’s best swimming holes — we can’t just park it poolside at the drop of a dime (especially with S.F.’s bipolar temps). But, we find it’s just as nice, and far less chilly, to dive right into a great book. This week, with a little help from local indie publisher Chronicle Books, we can beat the foggy-blues and stock our shelves with S.F.’s raddest reads...for cheap!
During its three-day spring warehouse sale, bargain buyers can snag everything from glossy cookbooks to quirky stationary for up to 65% off. Located at the company’s HQ on Second Street, we know we’ll be heading to SoMa, stat, for this one. We’re thinking we might pick up some travel books and plan a raucous road trip with all the scratch we’re saving. We suggest you follow our lead.
