There's been an on-going debate about leather shorts in this office. More than one of us think they're almost impossible to pull off, but almost all are of the consensus: If you can pull it off, do. Phillip Lim would certainly agree, as he showed this pair of bangin' leather shorts on his fall '09 runway. Layered over dark tights and paired with a romantic top? Divine. But we'll be experimenting with this tricky trend with these $55 dollar ones (newly-marked down!) from Silence & Noise. Just as slick but definitely not as steep, it's the kind of buy we wouldn't be too bummed about putting away after one season. Or if we decide to rock them all season long.
