With fancy cocktail den Comstock Saloon launching Honky-Tonk Sundays, and a bunch of BBQ places popping up left and right, there's definitely something country in the air around San Francisco. And now, it seems the California Academy of Sciences is inhaling it as well.
This Thursday, the museum's monthly NightLife series will be dedicated to all things country, with mechanical bull rides, a live acoustic set, and — the real focus of the night — bourbon and whiskey tastings plus booze education (learn about the science of distilling!) to pair with it all.
