Free Drinks & Ink At Brooklyn Vegan’s Unofficial CMJ Day Party

When you think CMJ, three things likely come to mind: Free music, free drinks, and, uh, free tattoos? Well, sure, if you’re attending the Brooklyn Vegan’s “FREE not-CMJ Day Party” at Public Assembly in Williamsburg. Beginning at twelve noon both Friday and Saturday, the lineup features some of our favorite bands including IO Echo, Sky Ferreira, MS MR, Braids, and many more.
For the more cavalier (or just-plain-crazy) Sailor Jerry has teamed up with Greenpoint’s excellent Three Kings Tattoo Parlor to give quality tattoos on a first-come-first-served basis for the Saturday event. You’ll have your choice between classic anchor, panther, cherry, dice, swallow, and sailor girl ink, but here’s the rub: you’ll have to throw darts at a board to choose your image. (We recommend you get stamped before you drink for optimal coordination). If random tattoos aren’t your style, then kick back at the bar with some free Sailor Jerry rum instead. Check out the lineups below, and good luck!
Friday's lineup is below, and Saturday's lineup will be announced later today:
