Blackbyrd is already one of our fave venues in town — amazing oyster specials, super-chill ambiance, great drinks, what's not to love? — and Tuesdays have become the best nights to visit, ever since local musician John Thornley started a DJ-and-movie-screening party.
Thornley (U.S. Royalty, Que Sera) is upping his game this month by incorporating live acts, and tonight kicks off with an acoustic performance by Birdlips. Already got hot plans for the eve? You can catch the next live set, featuring The Flying Eyes, on February 21. We think this is a sure bet for a good time, whether you're bringing a date or catching up with friends — it's definitely the most fun you'll have on a school night.
