On the Scene: Benjamin Cho

A streak of little black numbers including dresses, jumpsuits, and a smoking tux suit with bra underneath were easily our favorites in the Benjamin Cho collection with the genius use of multiple keys detailing sexy cut-outs and producing a bright, jangling fringe. Ben secretly told us backstage it was his 10-year anniversary as a designer. "Everything is hand sewn. I wanted to take it back to the beginning, sewing in my living room like I did 10 years ago." Out front, editors and celebs mingled and, embarrsingly, one of our reporters approched a man who she incorrectly believed was Vincent Gallo. Considering that it was Purple's Oliver Zahm, we think he wouldn't have minded the comparison.
