The Least Dive-y Bar Ever Opens In Chicago

barcito

If the idea of yet another PBR consumed in a venue where your shoes stick to the floor completely grosses you out, we have a remedy. Barcito (how adorable is that name), just opened at Tavernita restaurant, and it's an absolutely stunning space you've got to see. The bar's concept is totally Spanish, and features stand-and-eat small plates, and of course, spirits. Pinxto bars like this are all about ambiance and a festive, interactive environment. We needed a change, both because we're starved for an evening that looks as good as it tastes, and we're definitely jazzed about the talk-to-your-neighbor culture involved in Pinxto bars. Mingle, sip a Storm In The Cellar (that's a cocktail), and make new friends. Done.

Barcito at Tavernita, 151 West Erie Street (at LaSalle Street); 312-274-1111.
