Kick The Monday Blues With A Fashionable Fete

mainphotouse
It may only be Monday, but we're heading over to Public Hotel tonight to celebrate one of Chicago's rising stars in fashion — and you should, too. Atelier AZZA is celebrating its one-year anniversary and has summoned one of our favorite style experts — D. Graham Kostic of Glossed & Found — to spearhead the festivities.
We're not the only ones in love with this gorgeous label. Hand-produced garments such as structured blazers and to-die-for dresses have already been featured in glossy fashion magazines like Vogue on more than one occasion — and with good reason.

Azeeza Khan, the visionary behind the brand, pays homage to her South Asian roots by incorporating luxurious, silk textiles and embellishments such as antique gold wire. It's definitely a standout look you don't see on every rack. In fact, the luxe wares are currently only available via custom order only. Also cool? For each piece sold, AZZA provides a garment to an impoverished South Asian woman or child. Talk about a purchase you can feel good about.
Despite its exclusivity, you can mix and mingle with Khan (left in the photo) tonight and check out her latest collection (featured in British Vogue) over champagne and hors d'oeuvres. And following her philanthropic heart, the $45 ticket will benefit the Chicago Children's Choir. Seems like a no-brainer, right?

When: Tonight, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Public Hotel, 1301 N. State Parkway (at Goethe), 312-787-3700

RSVP: Azza.Eventbrite.com
