There are few places you can go in New York City to shop where you truly begin to understand why Winona got in trouble in the first place. Yes, A.P.C. on Mercer Street is such a store, and given our sneak peek at the utility-chic French label's latest spring collection, we can see we won't be saving much for a rainy day any time soon. Sandy suede desert boots, an aqua sweater dress, crisp boy-scout-style button-downs, and many many lust-worthy little cotton house-dresses that give this writer major pangs of desire. As for the menswear, it's typical A.P.C. simplicity, however, everyone in our office thinks that shrunken baseball jacket will be the must-have of spring.
