Over the weekend, Amy Schumer told Stephen Colbert that, while staying at Jake Gyllenhaal's house in Los Angeles, she found herself in late-night snacking mode. The comedian reportedly snuck into the actor's freezer, discovered birthday cake, and decided to delve into a sugary midnight snack. We don't blame her. Frozen cake is seriously delicious. Since it was b-day cake, though, Gyllenhaal might have had plans for this particular confection. But not to worry: He may not have had this cake, but he did get to eat one, anyway. The Southpaw actor visited The Late Show to chat about his new movie, Everest, and cheekily get back at Schumer. After reviewing her original video with Colbert, Gyllenhaal took a moment to respond to the Trainwreck star. "Hey, princess, what's going on?" he said before taking a healthy mouthful of what appeared to be vanilla cake with bright pink frosting. See him gloriously chow down here. Good thing he's not training for the boxing ring anymore — we have to imagine that dietary choice would have been majorly off-limits.
