McDreamy is coming back to a screen near you — well, sort of. Ever since TV's hottest doctor was killed off at the end of season 11 of Grey's Anatomy, we've been waiting with bated breath for Patrick Dempsey's next major move. Now thanks to Deadline, we have an answer. The website reports that Dempsey has signed on to star in Bridget Jones' Baby alongside Renée Zellweger. No word yet on which character he will play, but considering the title of the film, he may stir up drama with Bridget's baby daddy. While both Zellweger and Colin Firth are returning, Deadline reports that Hugh Grant will not be reprising his role as Daniel Cleaver. (Cue sighs.) Sharon Maguire, the director of 2001's original Bridget Jones' Diary, will be returning to direct. Whatever his role shapes up to be, you can bet we'll be lining up to see this one.
