Actor John Stamos was arrested Friday night in Beverly Hills for driving under the influence, E! News reports. After receiving "numerous calls" about a possible drunk driver in the area of Canon Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard, the Beverly Hills Police Department dispatched officers to the scene and Stamos was pulled over alone in his vehicle at the corner of Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica. The 51-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital "due to a possible medical condition," police told E!, and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI after an investigation determined he was in fact under the influence. Stamos was released into the care of the hospital and is scheduled to appear at the LAX courthouse on September 11 to address the charges. The actor, perhaps best known for his roll as Uncle Jessie in the beloved '90s sitcom Full House, has been all over the news of late talking about his plans for the show's much anticipated Netflix reboot, Fuller House. Though the Olsen twins won't be participating in the revival, many of the series original actors will be returning, including Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibler) and Dave Coulier (Joey). Here's hoping being surrounded by old friends and colleagues is just what the doctor ordered.
