Word on the street is that it's already spring. Can someone please tell New York? The Big Apple may have missed the memo; we're finding ourselves forced to keep our most beloved cold-weather pieces out of storage for a few more
days weeks. Although these past months have tested our layering skills, we New Yorkers have emerged stronger (and warmer) than ever before. Just look at Dakota Fanning, who gave winter-wear one last hurrah while out for a stroll in the city.
The actress cozied up under a cocoon coat and oversized scarf. Luckily, the vortex is behind us, so Fanning could forego winter boots in favor of some trusty Stan Smiths. Her mirrored shades put her in a sunny (or at least rose-colored) disposition — after all, it is technically spring, so brights are fair game.
We're only just starting to emerge from our under-40ºF-wardrobe routine, but Fanning's almost making us feel nostalgic for our snow-appropriate outerwear (almost). So, we're stealing her look for the final stretch of cold weather — and you can, too.
