Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Other Oscar Winners Nominated For Razzie Awards

With the fizz from the Golden Globe Awards dying down and Oscar nominations due out tomorrow, it's time for Hollywood's annual slap in the face: the 35th annual Razzie Awards nominations. The year's worst movies, and the often award-winning actors who starred in them, get their moment to, um, shine?
Transformers: Age of Extinction has the distinction of "leading" the pack with seven nominations — Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actor (Kelsey Grammer, also nominated for Expendables 3, Legends of Oz and Think Like a Man Too), Worst Supporting Actress (Nicola Peltz), Worst Director (Michael Bay), Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel, and Worst Screen Combo (any two robots and robotic actors). We're wondering how Mark Wahlberg dodged the bullet here.

Oscar winner Charlize Theron, however, was not so lucky, earning a nod for A Million Ways to Die in the West, along with Seth MacFarlane. Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas, Expendables 3, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were other big nominees.
Surprisingly, the Razzies decided to exhibit a bit of kindness for a change and announced the new Redeemer Award, "acknowledging that past nominees and 'winners' can (and often do) go on to far, far better things." Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Mike Myers, Keanu Reeves, and Kristen Stewart are the nominees for this new, actual honor. Razzie members vote on the main 10 categories, while the Redeemer Award is open to voting from the public.
The Razzie Awards will take place on Saturday, February 21, and we're seriously crossing our fingers for an appearance by at least one of the brave winners. Tammy duo Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon, we're looking at you.
