Your Flappy Bird Replacement Is Here

Those with an addiction to Flappy Bird had ruffled feathers when the game mysteriously flew the coop a few days ago. According to Time, creator Dong Nguyen was bringing in a reported $50,000 via advertising revenue per day — yes, daily. So, with the exception of a few odd texts from the mobile-game designer ("People are overusing my App," and "I cannot take this anymore"), there's still no concrete reason why he pulled the plug.
But, fear not. There's already a replacement in the works — but it's not from Nguyen. MTV reports that Fall Out Boy created the game Fall Out Bird to fill the void. If you're scratching your head, you should know that this isn't the first time the band has dabbled in technology. Back in 2009, Pete Wentz helped to spearhead Fall Out Boy Trail, a spin on the popular Oregon Trail game. So, if you'd like to see whether or not this bird will be the new word in mobile-gaming, it will be available at Google Play and the App Store as soon as it's approved. (MTV)
