Cara D and Michelle Rodriguez are the next Thelma and Louise. Well, rumor has it, at least.
The new dynamic duo is reportedly scheduling screen tests to fill the boots Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis filled so brilliantly in 1991. Rodriguez has been chatting up a possible Thelma & Louise remake for a year now, and she very well could've found her law-breaking counterpart in Delevingne. If the rumor is true, the floodgates of questions will break. Who will play who? How closely will it follow the original? But, more importantly, does Thelma & Louise even deserve to be remade? Let the thought pieces begin with that one.

Honestly, we'd be happy either way. These girls are fast becoming one of our favorite celebrity friends simply because of their pure appreciation of unadulterated shenanigans. Seeing 'em act it out on the silver screen would be an easter egg to an already fascinating, paint ball stained (hence the Insta below) friendship. (Marie Claire)
