Tales From The Darkside: It’s Baaack!

Looks like the '80s are coming back — again — with a vengeance. First, we heard that a Beetlejuice reboot is poised to return to the big screen, and now everyone's (okay, our) favorite horror TV show, Tales from the Darkside, is reappearing, too.
The CW is developing a remake of the cult show, which first premiered in 1984. Star Trek writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have jumped on board as executive producers, and Joe Hill (a.k.a. Stephen King's son) will be penning the series. There's no word yet on who will star. Though we might be hesitant about remakes, which often tend not to be as good as the originals, you can bet we'll be giving this one a fair shot and adding it to our DVRs, stat!
