Once upon a time, actor/writer/director Stephen Merchant, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt created Lip Sync-Off. The game is exactly what it sounds like: a competition in which participants give their best lip-sync performance of a song. Similar to karaoke, stage presence and scare tactics are everything in this competition. Krasinski introduced Jimmy Fallon to the art of Lip Sync-Off in May, and Fallon liked it so much that he invited his pal Joseph Gordon-Levitt and game co-creator Merchant to play on his show.
We don't want to spoil it for you, but this video is basically a .GIF gold mine. Merchant's rendition of "Single Ladies" and JGL's "Superbass" are among the best things we've ever seen on the Internet.
