The Catdance Film Festival Is Coming To Utah (Seriously)

main
Last year, feline fans were purring over Oakland getting its very own Internet Cat Video Festival. And, now they can break out the catnip and go crazy with this tidbit of hot-off-the-press news: The newly established Feline Arts Council (yes, that’s totally a thing and no, we don’t know how you can become a member) is bringing back Independent Cat Cinema with a Catdance Film Festival this coming January, going down in Park City, Utah.
We’d never guess a place known as the Beehive State would host a feline fête such as this, but we think the trek over will be well worth the journey. At the fest, not only will you see claws and paws coming at you in 3-D, but those who submit a film featuring the furry friends can win a $50,000 grand prize. That’s a whole lot of yarn! The winner will also take away a golden litter scoop. Seriously, we can’t make this stuff up! Learn how to become a filmmaker at the fest here, and you can go ahead and thank us for letting this cat out of the bag.
