Somehow, Nordstrom Managed To Make Beauty Shopping MORE Fun

Nordstrom is revamping its beauty game with the launch of Nordstrom Beauty Spot, a total rebranding of the store's beauty department. To debut their new concept, the department store partnered with six influencers — from fashion blogger Chriselle Lim to manicurist Madeleine Poole — to create a curated, trend-focused element to the beauty shopping experience. There's a fresh blog, too, and we're especially digging the how-tos from DIY queen Erica Domesek. (Lipstick decorating is a thing — who knew?)
Additionally, Nordstrom is personalizing the experience of the beauty consumer with Beauty Stylists (essentially personal shoppers for makeup, hair, skin and nail products), plus samples of almost every beauty item in the store, to ensure that every customer gets to try before they buy. Gone are the days of perfume-bottle-wielding salespeople — this could become a totally new shopping experience. Consider our MasterCards ready.
