Turn Your Phone Snaps Into Retro-Cool Polaroids At This New Pop-Up

If Instagram's Nashville filter isn't retro enough for you, a good old-fashioned Polaroid should do the trick — but that doesn't mean you have to hunt down one of the classic cameras. Polaroid Fotobar, an online service that lets you transform your digital snaps into Polaroid-style prints, just opened a new pop-up shop in Union Station for all your tangible nostalgia needs.
By opening its second-ever store in the District, Polaroid is banking on the eagerness of shutterbugs to transform Instagram and Facebook snaps into customized works of art — and we have to admit, we're pretty intrigued. In celebration of this week's opening, Polaroid has launched a "Union Station Stars and Stripes Photo Contest," where users can submit their best original photos to union@myfotobar.com for a chance to win a $250 in-store gift certificate. After all, why settle for generic wall art when you can turn those phone pics into custom masterpieces?
