A gal doesn’t need Valentine’s Day, a man, or any other excuse to indulge in a little chocolate — especially when it’s Chicago’s very own Vosges. From Funk and Disco to Wink of the Rabbit, the exotic flavor combos never cease to amaze the palate, and the only thing that could possibly make the euphoric eating experience any better is a refreshing libation to wash it all down.
As luck would have it, Vosges Haut-Chocolat in Lincoln Park just launched a summer cocktail series that’s got us as excited about the ice cream man-days of our childhood. Every Wednesday (5 to 7 p.m.) and Friday (4 to 6 p.m.), the Armitage boutique will be offering a seasonal selection of wines, beers, and Champers to enjoy on site — with a truffle or two, naturally!

If you want to take your decadence to-go, bottles of vino are 15% off on both days, and Moet is down 20% on Fridays. Select bottles also get the added bonus of a complimentary truffle collection, so cheers to you. So, what if it’s not a bikini-friendly treat? Life and summer are too short.
