If you think it's hard to say goodbye to your favourite Game Of Thrones characters from your living room couch, just imagine how it feels for the actors who lived it. On Sunday, we lost one of the show's most beloved characters, Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel), who spent her entire arc on the show supporting Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and later developing a romance with Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson). Basically, they were her ride or dies, and now Emmanuel is sending love to the actors she shared so much screen time with, as well as a tribute to the character herself, on Instagram, and it will make you emotional all over again.

"It’s been one of my greatest joys playing Missandei of Naath... The quiet and kind translator," the post begins. "A brilliant woman who overcame so much suffering and found herself, her voice... and her one and only love. She represented so much for me, personally, that I have no choice but to carry the things she has taught me into my life going forward."
To Clarke, Emmanuel said she "loved playing your BFF for the past 7 years" and promised "The Bad Ass Boss Lady Warrior Goddess club will live on forever."
As for Anderson, things got even more sentimental.
"I literally cannot tell you what sharing the screen with you has meant to me," she wrote. "I found performances I didn't know I had inside me, simply because you gave me so much to work against. Playing Missandei and Grey Worm's journey has been so special. I couldn't have asked for a more generous and supportive co-star... Also... We've been out in these streets together boiiii…negotiating so much but always having each other's back. Thank you for all of it... you have been a dear friend at every point."
Anderson made sure to return the favour on Twitter, posting a behind-the-scenes clip of himself and Emmanuel dancing that gives a bittersweet look at how things could have worked out had Cersei (Lena Headey) surrendered and stopped the inevitable bloodshed.
"I know it hurts," Anderson (who goes by the rap name Raleigh Ritchie) captioned the video on Twitter. "But Somewhere in the multiverse."

Tag yourself, I'm the crew people who just kind of walk around in the background. Actually, I'm Missandei, thriving and dancing in an alternate universe that isn't just in my dreams.
