On Thursday night, the fab crowd was out in force for David LaChapelle monster new exhibit at Lever House, which really, we could look at all day. And, but of course, LaChapelle's posse was almost as interesting to look at as the photo porn, with guests like transgender icon Amanda Lepore, supermodel Hana Soukupová, and Uma Thurman, whose style points have gone sky-high recently (hello body-hugging dresses!). The guest that drew the most stares, however, was Daphne Guinness, who might just rival Lady Gaga in the attention arena with fantastical outfits more suited for a stage than a soiree. Not that we're complaining. And, being the trendsetter that she is, we're quite intrigued by the alien/dominatrix/dark bride look she had going on, especially her right ear, which was curiously painted in a shiny silver à la the Tin Man. It's sort of fetching, very weird, and intriguing all at the same time, which leads us to ask: Would you get in on the single silver-painted ear trend? Is this way rad, or seriously bad?
