Chicago Fashion's Night Out - Parties Around Town

Good-bye, beaches. See you next year, street festivals. We can't think of a better way to kick the end-of-summer blues than with Fashion's Night Out this Thursday! You pretty much just need to stumble out onto Michigan Avenue to find a fete, but we've made it even easier with this handy go-to guide of festivities. While it's impossible to hit 'em all, here are seven soirées worth attending.

Blowtique — Noon to 5 p.m.

We're flipping over the free blowouts from this new BDS emporium in River North! Available on a first-come, first-serve basis only, get one of the signature looks, like The Magnificent (a classic blowout with a smooth, light-weight style), before heading out for your night out on the town. 900 North Michigan Shops — 6 to 9 p.m.

Get beautified for your night out with complimentary mini-services from Mario Tricoci. Then, strike a pose in the Glossedandfound.com photo booth — say cheese!. Henri Bendel — 6 to 8 p.m.

Haberdash — 6 to 9 p.m.

Gents are definitely not left out of the FNO festivities at this man cave. Sip Koval cocktails and snack on eats from Osteria via Stato while checking out the latest and greatest from Red Wing Heritage and Levi's Made & Crafted. Moncler — 5 to 8 p.m.

Pick up a limited-edition Moncler T-shirt during this exclusive cocktail party. While you're at it, browse some of the brand's signature winter gear. It'll be here before you know it.

Neiman Marcus — 6 to 8 p.m.

You'll wonder if the "f" in FNO stands for food at this party. Restos like Paris Club, More Cupcakes, RPM, Ai Japanese, and Rosebud will be offering bites on the third and fourth floors. To tie in the real theme of the evening, there will be a fall fashion show hosted by Corri McFadden of e-Drop Off.

Saks Fifth Avenue — 6 to 9 p.m.
A party within a party, this affair celebrates FNO and the launch of the Chicago Sun-Times new section "Splash," launching in this Sunday's paper.
