Hey, we're not all about fashion and style — we can enjoy a good sports game now and again (No, not just when RGIII is involved!). And, we're always down to throw a party for any occasion, which is why we're already getting geared up for the Super Bowl. But, a game day viewing party is not like your typical Golden Globes or Oscar affair — kale chips and hummus won't do here. Nope, you need heartier fixings for this soiree.
So, to give us a leg up, Union Market is putting on a full day DIY event, all focused on prepping for the Big Event. Vendors will be offering guests courses on game day recipes, from burger and hot dog how-tos to beer and cheese pairings to tips on styling your tasty spread. Plus, there'll be giveaways and prizes leading up to the showcase — just follow @UnionMarketDC on Twitter. Now all you have to do is decide which team to root for.
