Whitney Museum Hosts Art To Buy - Whitney American Art Award

If you're an art fan but don't necessarily belong to the 1% that can donate and be awarded works from the Whitney Museum's permanent collection, specifically commissioned for their American Art Award, well, you won't be excluded! This Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m., aside from celebrating the four honorees (Peter M. Brant, The Henry Luce Foundation, and Ogilvy & Mather), the museum will turn into a gallery for the night. Guests will be able to purchase some of the artwork, profiting the Whitney Museum's educational programs.

Enjoy cocktails while you carouse through exclusive artworks from artists like Beth Campbell, Jason Middlebrook and David Altmejd to name a few. Click through to see a preview of some of the artwork going on sale!
