When Nick Lucio and Van Lamprou, the founders of the fun and unabashedly girly Dolce Vita shoe label, decided to open a store for their line, they wanted a space that would cater to the New York woman—rather than their own egos. The result is DV, a shop nestled down on Ludlow Street with such a relaxed, welcoming demeanor it could just as easily be a dear friend's apartment. Along with the entire Dolce Vita shoe line including their wrap-around leather thongs and pretty bronze ballet slippers, the shop focuses on stylish basics (with clothing labels such as La Rok, Saddlelites, Taverniti, Same, LA Made, and Ashley Tyler) and various jewelry and accessories lines. To honor the opening, the pair will be hosting a bash at the storefront on January 17, where Nikki Van Pelt's day-glo pop culture paintings will be premiered and music will be provided by the Bangers.

Though they're best known for their comfy-chic espadrilles and wedges, the pair behind the shoe line Dolce Vita have expanded their newly opened Lower East Side flagship to more than just footwear.
