Sure, models, It Girls, and international designers inspire the styles we wear. But what really gets our fashionable little hearts beating are music and the artists behind the beats. From the street style of Azealia Banks to the winsome chic of Foxes' Louisa Rose Allen, the ladies behind the mic truly motivate us. Not to mention, their sound inspires so much of the style we love.

To give these musical muses their props and demonstrate how much music impacts fashion, we're teaming up with
SPIN
and Virgin Mobile for our Fashion Week Backstage Pass series. Our celeb correspondents, the chic MNDR and the lovely Whitney Port, will be covering the best music, rockers, playlists, and after-parties they find this New York Fashion Week, and interviewing some of our favorite designers to discover the tracks behind their creations (and some inside deets on that bangin' concert we threw at Williamsburg's Wythe Hotel, featuring SPIN cover girl Azealia Banks, herself). Killer, right?
