Alida Asymmetric Silk-satin Maxi Dress

Roksanda Ilincic's 'Alida' dress is cut on the bias from panels of fluid silk-satin - the way it moves is so beautiful. The rich berry shades are inspired by the intense palette of Mark Rothko's oil paintings, and look so striking with black leather boots as seen on the runway. For the show the long neck sash was styled undone and over one shoulder, but you could secure it in a bow for a slightly more retro effect.
