Please, Sir, I Want Some More: Sir’s Much-Anticipated Expansion Opens Tomorrow

Clearly, one Sir in Brooklyn (360 Atlantic Ave in Boerum Hill) and one in Manhattan (396 Broome Street in Nolita) was not enough. Much to our delight, owner/designer Joanna Baum (above) will open yet another fetching Brooklyn boutique Saturday Oct 4. Located at 129 Bedford Avenue between North 9th and North 10th, this RISD alum's third atelier is filled with the "softly deconstructed classics" that she is known for working on in the shop itself. Among the many enticing items on display will be gorgeous fall dresses, jackets, one-of-a-kind hand-dyed silk and jersey pieces, jewelry and handbags, and pieces by a few other choice designers, notably Miranda Bennett. Brooklyn, hipsters won't even have to leave their turf for a high fashion fix tomorrow, and we'll be running, not walking, to Sir, with love.
