Online-only shops like Shopbop has Bop in Madison, Wisconsin, Need Supply is located in Richmond, Virginia, and now, Piperlime is set to start laying ground in NYC at 121 Wooster Street. The massive Gap-owned online retailer stocks thousands of styles and over 500 brands, and is capitalizing on the shopping habits of new shoppers, called the "omni-channel customer," who uses online, in-store, and smartphones/tablets to make purchases, and also spends four times as long looking at product than the regular consumer.
