Before TLC turned the gals (and goodies) of Georgetown Cupcake into full-blown stars, they were just a couple of regular bakers — with a super-popular sweets shop. Well, it seems the same rise to fame may be in store for their pie-loving neighbors, the all-kinds-of-adorable siblings over at Pie Sisters of Georgetown.
Rumor has it they've been busy filming a TV pilot, although few details are known at this point. While we go gaga over their sweet potato pie, we're not too sure how a reality show would pan out — after all, we've seen the Kardashian sisters go at it, and they're not even under the stresses of real jobs. We're also not crazy about another one of our beloved local shops going from mom-and-pop (or sister-times-three, as it were) to national phenomenon. But what do you think? Will another Georgetown baking show be twice as nice, or too much of a good thing? (Prince of Petworth)
