Bite Into Persimmon Looks This Spring

We saw a lot of juicy colors in the spring collections, but one seemed to stand above the rest. Shades of persimmon ruled the runways, notably at Brian Reyes, where looks contained just a sliver or two of brightness, and at Derek Lam, where it came in larger slices. No matter what the serving size, we think everyone can make persimmon work this season. Punch up your wardrobe with a bold accent piece, like a thick multi-strand necklace, or cover more territory with a dress. Pairing persimmon with less intense hues like brown or navy-blue tones down the tartness, while wearing a short dress solo lets the color really shine. Once spring is in full swing, we intend to wear persimmon by the bushel. Here are a few pieces to get you started.
