No longer strictly reserved for jack-o-lanterns and falling leaves, orange is making a long-awaited leap into the summer season, popping up everywhere from Coca Rocha editorials to the CFDA Awards red carpet to the Resort 2010 runway. Sure, this being Resort, color's to be expected, and while we found ourselves refreshed by the prevalence of mint green this time around, there was something about the burnt orange shade that seemed so positively bewitching. Zac Posen and Max Azria dove right in with totally tangerine frocks, while Louis Vuitton paid homage to the hue's Halloween-y heritage with orange and black stripes and an awesomely witchy hooded black jacket. We'd dress up in that costume any day.
