This Street Performer Does An Amazing Adele Cover (Actually)

We hope we're never that type of jaded New Yorker who can't walk by a subway singer or a costumed street performer without a requisite eye roll. We're always open to new talent, although we don't usually expect to find it underground. But soulful crooner Damon Scott belted out a great cover of Adele's "Someone Like You," and his pure voice, emotional build, and non-cheesy drumming got us to pause our iPod, and quick. While we may not pay for his next concert, we were more than happy to listen to his rendition as we waited at the 86th street subway platform, and amped to see passersby equally jazzed up, nodding along and dropping copious cashola into his metal basket. Plus, this song is totally hard to cover, and we haven't seen it done with equal precision from The Voice contestants (or judges)... yet.
