There’s A New Top Dog In Town (And It Has Good Buns & Beer)

house of dog miami beach - post
In Miami, we’ve seen all kinds of weirdness when it comes to hot dogs. Fried egg with your frank, anyone? But now there’s a new kid on the block taking the culinary experimentation to the next level by actually injecting beer into the dog. Introducing House of Dog, a new space dedicated to beer and hot dogs, and putting the two together.
Located just down the way from The Forge, the Miami Beach restaurant serves 30 rare brews (Laughing Skull Amber Ale, Rogue...you get the picture) and serious dogs with quirky names like the Ninja (beef-infused dog, Japanese portabella mushrooms, pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and wasabi mayo) and the Dracula (chipotle dog, buffalo sauce, sautéed onions and pepper, sauerkraut, and sour cream). But if you want to go off the menu, there’s also a range of toppings to choose from like peaches, chimichuri, and mandarin oranges. Sounds scary, but hey, maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks.
