Made In America: Not The Music Festival, But Just As Rad

Like the summer music event of the same name, The Made in America Project is definitely worth getting psyched about. (But, no, Jay Z has nothing to do with this one.) Los Angeles-based creatives and MiA's cofounders, Micha Thomas and Jaime Lawson, dreamed up the e-commerce site over coffee in 2012. The idea: Provide designers who have faced challenges and resisted pressure to outsource production with a digital platform to display their work.
Today, the shop is a reality, featuring a carefully curated selection of cool wares designed and manufactured in the U.S. It's a place to find garments of quality and heritage value, including men's and women's clothing and accessories, as well as home accents and a range of apothecary offerings. Visit the MiA Project's official website for all the details, and click ahead for a shoppable taste of what this company is all about.
