Hey, Shutterbugs! We Found Your New Favorite Toy

If you, like us, are devoted Instagrammers, you already know the power of the Lomo-Fi filter — saturated colors, dramatic shadows, overall coolness. These are trademarks of lomography, a style of analog experimental photography loved by artsy types the world over. So, imagine our delight when we discovered Lomography's array of super-cool, affordable cameras that bring our Instagram preferences to life.
The site offers a multitude of analog cameras, from Dianas to Holgas to Lomo LC-As, but we're really smitten with one that has a special connection to the DMV — the "Virginia Is for Lovers"-themed La Sardina. The company teamed up with our southern neighbor to create a wide-angle, point-and-shoot camera that lets you take frame-worthy snaps, incorporating multiple or long-exposure techniques. (You can add a flash for more versatility.)
Even better, the site is running a 12-month "Love Unexpected" photo contest where you can win getaways, cameras, and more. Need inspiration? The Virginia Tourism Corporation will you started, but we're pretty sure once you start snapping away, you'll come up with some grand-prize worthy shots in no time.
Virginia is for Lovers La Sardina Camera, $69, available at Lomography.
