If we were shacking up on the Left Coast, we'd no doubt be Fred Segal regulars. An L.A. fashion institution, the So-Cal fashion staple likes to keep things fresh with new designers and unexpected goings on. Case in point, the opening of its way cool Generic Man pop-up boutique at its Santa Monica location.
The diminutive shop-in-shop had its soft opening on Friday with the debut of some new footwear designs, but we're looking forward to the launch party next Saturday (August 23) when the L.A. based outfit will release the exclusive Re-Edit Series, "The Generic Man's new 'green' series made of vintage army materials," a handmade line you can only get here until the full release next January 2009 (when the Pop-Up comes down). And who wants to wait for that?
