Forget Musical Chairs, Chicago’s Henri Is Playing Musical Bars

1

With so many great restaurants and bars in Chicago, it’s no easy task to choose just one for a big
night out on the town. But, who says you have to? With Henri’s “Spirited Dinner” series, you can
sample the talents of a rotating roster of local beverage gurus while you dine. The formula’s simple:
Each month, Henri’s spirit director and mixologist, Clint Rogers, invites the beverage staff of another
Chicago establishment behind his bar. The team then works together with Henri’s executive chef, Chris
Gawronski, to create a coursed meal around five themed craft cocktails.

Previous dinners have seen visitors from Barrelhouse Flat (whiskey), Scofflaw (gin), and Bar DeVille (Fat
Tuesday), but this month’s dinner, set for March 13, is sure to be extra-special: Carriage House is all but
taking over! Lending not only its bartending talent to Henri for the night, but its very own executive chef
(Mark Steuer), Carriage House will bring of touch of Southern charm to the Mag Mile with a menu that
focuses on the spirit of Cognac. Tickets are $100 a pop and reservations are required. Uh, hello? What
are you waiting for?
