On the contrary, The Fashion 50 was inspired by something we've been seeing shift over not just 2010, but the past few years. Maybe it was the economy taking a nosedive or the flurry of budding bloggers proving—in numbers!—that they've got the inches that count.
There's no denying that fashion's rules of influence and power have changed, and, these days, it takes a whole lot more than just a celeb-studded runway show and an elite new It Bag to make a dent. And you, our amazing and equally influential readers, have a lot to do with this brave new world.
That's why we're enlisting YOU to tell us who (out of our 75 nominees) deserves a shot at the top 50.
