Editors Obsess! R29’s Ultimate Spring Must-Haves

With so many lookbooks and press releases to wade through daily, you might think the shine of fashion's newest goodies has kind of worn off for us. Never. In fact, the three of us each keeps a running tally of all the latest and most irresistible must-haves for spring we either want, have, or will be satisfied to simply fantasize about (at least for a while). So, this spring, we've edited our lists down to only the pieces that matter most, from year-round classics to spring and summer's most coveted. Time to say bye-bye to that tax return...

Petite Bateau Bralette, $35, available at Petit Bateau; Petit Bateau Boy Shorts, $28, available at Petit Bateau. "Every spring I like to ditch all of last season's unmentionables and start fresh. And this sweet little top and bottom is precisely the reason why."

Nars Lipstick in Funny Face, $24, available at Sephora. "Come spring, I love switching my red lip in for the most intense shade of hot pink (it always reminds me of big beautiful camelia flowers!). Julie Hewett makes a great one called Scarlett, and Nars' shade of Funny Face is equally divine."

Cartier Entrelaces Ring in Yellow Gold, $850, by Cartier. "Absolutely perfect in every way...a great piece on its own or layered with some of my other crazy rings."

Keds Champion white canvas sneaker, $35, available at Keds. "These are probably the only kind of shoes both my mom and I swear by. The classic plimsole kick only gets chicer with age."

Rag & Bone Sahara Oxford Wedges, $390, available at Shopbop. "A pale shoe is so impractical for winter, so when the mercury rises, I like to pull out all the stops with an nude open-toe wedge."

Thistlepearl Embroidered Dress, $78, available at Urban Outfitters. "The perfect little white vintage dress should—in theory—be so easy to find thrift, but isn't. This embroidered dress is an awesome alternative, with just the right amount of lived-in-ess to look convincing."

Micro Gem Headphones, $32, available at AplusStore. "When I'm not in the mood to rock big headphones (as per last season's holiday picks), this tiny bead-like pair would do nicely. Plus, they freak out passer-bys, which is always nice."

Margiela Candy Clutch, $850, available at La Garconne. "Margiela always makes completely insane must-have items each season. For spring, this clutch shaped like a candy wrapper is my pick."
