Daily Diversion: Talking Yam Teaches Us About Dressing Up

Mmm. Yeah, we're kind of at a loss for words here, so we'll stick to the basics. Mamma Yamma, the puppet yam star of the Canadian children's show Mamma Yamma and Friends, is nervous about her cover shoot for an upcoming issue of Yam Fancy magazine, so her photographer – skinny, hipster-ish, Nova Scotian musician Joel Plaskett – sings her a song about the joys of dressing up called "Fashionable People" while they try on different clothes. Look, just hit play, okay? It's best not to overthink it.
